Wartime Honey biscuits.
Serves 25-30 cookies
- 2.5 oz unsalted butter
- 1 oz sugar
- 3 tablespoon honey
- 5 oz self- raising flour
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
- Cream your butter and sugar. Add the honey, flour , cinnamon and salt. Mix well till it all comes together.
- Place onto a lightly dusted surface with flour and roll out until ¼ inch thick, cut into rounds and place onto a baking sheet. Bake in the oven on 160c for about 10 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and leave to cool for a couple of minutes then place individually place onto a cooling wire.
