Spain on a Plate

James is getting ready for another adventure searching for ‘perfect ingredients’, this time in Spain. 

Travelling to Duernas, he will be sampling and seeing the olives being harvested by Soledad and her team. Working their way through old and new olive groves, Soledad and Sabrina will be showing the different varieties that go into making one of Wellocks’ ‘perfect ingredients’ – the entire process of oil production from the field to the bottle. They will also be giving a talk on the benefits of olive oil.

During the visit James will visit Jubago, where ham will be the main event  – this is sure to be a great day before travelling south to Jerez where the climate gets warmer and it’ll be time for some special-recipe balsamic vinegar and sherry vinegars with perhaps a glass or two of sherry thrown in.

Joining James this time is Michael Wignall, Eric Titchwell, Peter Higginson, Richard Booth, Russell Bateman and Adrian from Twin Farms. The trip is sure to be a success.
